This.

Is every young man attracted to innocent looking cute asian girls or is it like a fetish?

zara and asos (the latter i'm referring to is the brand versus the whole retailer( are fast fashion so you are essentially getting what you pay for-cheap quality fabric and machinemade pieces. the reason why zara can get away with charging so much is because they do direct designer knockoffs.
for a budget they aren't bad so long as you know how to take care of your clothing. i'd recommend investing up, personally, but if you can't then there's no shame-just be conscious of the construction and know how to keep it in shape. i've had an h&m shirt that i've had for about two years at this point that's suffered and although it's not in great shape, it's withstood a lot of shit moreso because of the way i launder it versus the quality of the material itself (which is still pretty bad, it's terrible, actually).
it'll fall apart on you or your progeny eventually, such is the way of clothing. it's a matter of prolonging that life as much as possible.
as for a direct answer: they aren't exaggerating. their quality sucks.

thrift and resell. I don't know if you live in an area with a lot of high wealth or not but if you are/are close to one, go to a goodwill, and buy up the jewelry if they have a large selection, or selectively look for brand names in the clothing racks. I've done this a couple times and gone to a consignment shop right after and made a pretty modest profit.
also, you could make things-I make simple bits and baubles as a hobby and sold them to old bluehairs until I got my current job, and I also do house-cleaning/gardening for my parents as well as a couple neighbors. other areas could be cat or dog sitting, dog walking, check craigslist for local odd jobs (just be wary!!). volunteering can often lead to job offers and actual positions, as well. if you know elderly people, see if they need home assistance. I'm sure there are opportunities where you are, anon, just ask around.
