a couple of years ago i had the idea of making graphic tshirts using victorian lithographs, but i didn't follow through with it because my friend's printer did not have enough fidelity.

this is kind of key, though. rick for revillon was still hardcore rick (and rick is pretty revillon to begin with, but that's another story), and rick was still doing really similar work more than a decade ago and, even where he do to something like ivy revival, it would still read as rick because you'd recognize his approach to drape and drafting.

raf has a voice, but without any skill of his own in making and designing clothing, he's subjected to the talents and voices of his team. raf in control of a weak team would give weak collections; c.f. hedi at slp in contrast to hedi anywhere else
