Ordered pic related, saw someone bashing them in another thread. One person bashing these for not being canvas, the other one bashing them for being juvenile. (I'm only 20 in college)

Did I make a mistake? I like them, don't see what would really be wrong with them. Just seem like basic high tops to me

Just ordered pic related. (I need something to keep the rain out of my feet and all my sneakers are canvas)

Haven't shipped yet, but they look good I think. I might send em back though because of the fleece lining. I'm worried my feet are gonna get really sweaty, and I should just get regular leather sk8 his and black out the stitching

Also any tips to clean the lining of these so they don't smell or something?

Alright /fa/ so here is the deal.

I need a pair of black sneakers I can wear in the rain and not fuck them up.

Been thinking of copping pic related or leather nike blazers.

But to me, black leather has always come off as something that took sneakers from casual wear like canvas to a streetwear style sneaker, and thus I've never owned any leather sneaks in black.

Am I overthinking this? I wore canvas all the time because where I was from it was hot and it never rained, so when I moved out of my desert town to somewhere much cooler and rain-ier, I realized canvas isn't gonna cut it anymore. I just don't want my shoes to say something completely different than the rest of my outfit, feel me?

How versatile are black sk8 his in terms of styles they go with?
They look pretty good, but I'm not big on memechrome fits.

I'm p. new to /fa/ and am in college, and I don't own a lot of nice shoes.
