Sure, the job prospects are stellar and I've gained some fantastic opportunities through the Alum network which have allowed me to intern at Brookings my freshman summer, and PWC my sophomore summer. But you're mistaken if you think that only Harvard can offer that to a student. Most prestigious universities have comprehensive alumni networks that will strongly advantage your career building opportunities, even a middle end state school like the University of Georgia offers a very nice alumni network.

I agree with you on Cambridge, it is an awesome city with great people and a lot of interesting diversity.

Hopefully get into a good grad school and get my PhD, then work in the government or a think tank like Brookings. Potentially working for the World Bank or IMF doing third world economic research and development.
