I advise against it. My mom told me how my uncle bought Solovair boots back when I was a baby and mentioned he would like them more without that little pull tab at the back. About 2 weeks later, he disappeared. The investigators opened his apartment and just found a pair of scissors near his closet that was suspicious. At first they suspected a possible murder, but the scissors were not stained with blood or anything confirming this suspicion. To this day, nobody has ever seen a trace of him again. Over the decades, there were rumors of him living incognito somewhere in SEA, but those were never confirmed either. Anon, I would not touch that tab if I were you. Be safe.
