Ah alright. Solid points, it is brighter white but then again it's matter of personal preference if that's a bad or a good thing. I wash both types with dish wash brush and water and the "foam" wedge does require bit more brushing, dirt kind of sticks to it like you propably ment. If I had choice though, I would still wish that all wedge soles where the "foam" ones just because of the comfort in weightlesness.
