Not sure if this is good advice but don't think you have to like all the shit posted here to have good taste. Most of this stuff seems lame to me as well. It's mostly is a combination of trendy hype, Adidas shilling, and posting mediocre outfits that only seem nice because the person wearing it is very attractive. Like you said every now and then you might see something like one piece that seems cool. You ought to keep digging for those diamonds in the dirt. Take ideas from what you like of it and then lose whatever is not relevant to your interests. From there you can cultivate your own garden of aesthetics that you really believe in, as opposed to only believing in it being it is "/fa/".

At least that is how I go about it.
