it's not just about guns and balaclavas, a lot of the central look centers around distinctive european/eastern european military surplus clothing combined with casual/athletic wear, if you took the gun and balaclava out of an outfit with a cheap pair of adidas, jeans, and a gorka jacket or something it would still be distinctly terrorwave-esque

i mentioned this in a dwc thread a long time ago but both general aesthetics focus on a sort of anti fashion and anti social mindset, maybe i'm a sperg
