Sure it means something. It means that even shorter guys can pull taller women. And when it comes to preferences, women also prefer funny guys to boring ones, rich ones over poor ones, nicely dressed guys over those who look like hobos etc. There are a myriad of things women look for and being X in any of these doesn't guarantee anything.
