Do you guys own any other "made to last" clothes besides boots and shoes?
What about socks, gloves, umbrellas?
Trousers that don't fade and look old in one season?

How do you guys take care of your welt edges?
Do you apply shoe polish? Just wax? Leave them be?

For me it's the first thing that looks sloppy, literally have to clean it after every wear. But I have never done anything to my sole edges at all, no product.

My mum always told me the only place a man should ever be "left leaning" is at his tailor.

I'm 27 and I've friend who is a naval architect.
All of his peers make over $100k a year and he's unemployed.

Why? Because he was a dumb kid who got his lobes pierced as a kid and then stretched them. Now he has two holes.
