ultra reliable traits:

strong shock resistance
at least some anti magnetic traits
decent water resistance, at least 100m
sapphire crystal
decent / quality steel, 904L, etc
chronometre rating

serviceability:
parts should be accessible to non-authorized dealers
authorized dealers should charge an average rate ($500-$1000)
the movement/calibre with wide adoption (will provide decades worth of parts)

remember chronographs are more costly to service than movements with no complications.

all in all, you can’t go wrong with something like an explorer 1 or dj like >>15402189 said. but there are a few other options as well.
