Yeah they flyback to the beginning like when you reset a chronograph. It's a funny complication because you will probably be asleep when it happens anyway and it makes the dial extremely cluttered, but I think that's part of the charm. Patek has also made some weird and frankly ugly retrograde designs over the years.
