It doesn't bother me all that much. The orientation of the numbers kinda does for the simple fact that it makes 9 look like a 6, from a certain point of view, but it's more of a "you'll get used to it" things and less of an actual bother. Really love that the date & day just snaps into place at midnight instead of slowly rotating into place. I own a Seiko 5 too and that slow transition to the next day/date kinda irks me.
