Lunarcore is massively inspired by decades of imagination and creativity in the form of sci-fi media such as movies, comic books and video games. Independent artists inspired by advances in science/technology, the night sky and especially the space race bring the genre to life. I'm going to list some of my favorite "lunarcore" sci-fi media. Im not here to start a war of is good/bad or is it lunarcore I'm merely admiring costume design, character design choices and over all themes within media.

•Movies and T.V.

These threads have long been pulling concepts from science fiction movies as a main source of inspiration since the beginning stages of figuring out what defines lunarcore here on /fa. Note I have not watched all of these

-The Alien franchise (the first movie is a good visual explanation of what lunarcore is, shout out to covenant)

-Star Wars franchise (particularaly the originals and rouge one)

-2001 A Space Odyssey

-Moon by Duncan Jones(a personal favorite)

-Star Trek

-Firefly series

-The Fifth Element

-The Martian

-Dune

Good shit bro I love your kntrs you're making me regret my colorway. I agree with what anon said about a more technical shirt and watch but I know what being on a budget wanted to use the things you already own feels like.

I'd recommend finding a moisture wicking athletic t with some lunar qualities such as color blocking, extra pockets or added texture you can find them all over eBay for cheap and probably even cheaper at some local shops. And for watches check out some Casio stuff on eBay so many good watches for sub $20 just browse around.

Ayye welcome to lunarcore glad to have ya, I just woke up but some time today I'll try and make an effort post for you on some of the basics. Rewatch the first alien movie and pay attention to the costume design that will give you a first look at what good lunarcore can look like.
