The military spec thing was mostly tongue in cheek. it does have different design and built for more rugged things being a Breaching Watch for the French equivalent of S.W.A.T.

Bell and Ross's BR- Series are super an acquired taste, there is just something very strong about the screws and the PANERAI looking numbers on the face. They are affordable also and hold up better than most watches in that price range.

As for the military working thing, im not really that sure.. but i don't think a veteran coming back stateside would even know OR spend the $ on a B&R. Some normie GMT or something.
