hey guys,

it's just past 9am and I'm already a little tipsy. After I finish this last beer i'm gonna take a shower and go shopping to pick up some new clothes for a wedding i'm going to. luckily it's a casual wedding, so i have some flexibility on what to buy, but i still feel like a huge dadcore fagget going around shopping for a pair of trousers and a dress shirt. I went to bloomingdales yesterday and nearly puked at their selection. Theory? Vince? Superdry? Not even carrying the burberry prorsum line? fuck datt

today i think i'll be going to barneys and saks, tho saks will probably be just as conservative as bloomingdales. not even worth going to neiman marcus i think. might pop into the local goofnigga boutique to see if they have anything cool and relatively within my budget.

but fuck, finding decent clothes is so fucking hard. i might just wear my standard goofnigga fit to the wedding, and if anyone complains i'll just tell them how much it all costs

is this the /fa/ life? does it "get better"?

>People want clothes that are hard to find. Things that have romance, but a factual romance, about them. I had this proven to me all over again when people actually stopped me in the street (in New York, in Tokyo, in London) to ask me where I got the coat I was wearing. So many people tried to buy my coat off my back that I started a small company to make them available. It seems everybody (well, not *everybody*) has always wanted a classic horseman's duster but never knew exactly where to get one. I ran a little ad in The New Yorker and The Wall Street Journal and in a few months sold this wonderful coat in cities all over the country, and to celebrities and to a mysterious gentleman in Japan who ordered *two thousand* of them. I think that giant corporations should start asking themselves if the things they make are really, I mean really, better than the ordinary. Clearly people want things that make their lives the way they wish they were

i kinda like it, but i wouldnt wear it. i like the baggy look too paired with straight/slim jeans.
