buy yourself some of the following:
>5-10 basic solid colour t-shirts, avoid bright offensive colours, have at least 1 black and 1 white
>a well fitted pair of raw denim jeans
>a pair of black/navy chinos
>a pair of light chinos
>1 black and 1 brown belt
>a nice pair of shoes
>a nice pair of boots
>a nice jacket
>a couple cardigans
>a couple of thin sweaters
>a couple of button ups, light colours are safe

from there you can browse inspo threads and add individual pieces that you like. also, grow your hair and tie it fairly high. grow out your facial hair if you can.

if you really don't feel confident thinking for yourself yet, just do this and continue lurking. the sticky is probably pretty intimidating.
