Tudor produced a cheaper but the same Submariner for almost 50 years. Do you think something at Rolex has fundamentally changed such that they would be worried about a Tudor sub all the sudden?

I think the thing preventing Tudor from releasing a Submariner again is that it would make the Black Bay seem like a misstep. They went all in on the Black Bay as their unique stylistic take on the Submariner and they aren't going to release a normal looking Submariner alongside it.

The original Tudor subs are every bit as beautiful as the Rolex, by the way.
