as someone who has owned both the regular dms and solovairs there is honestly no comparison. the whole "dms are uncomfortable until you break them in after a month" is a meme made up by doc martens to justify their shitty uncomfortable plastic leather. my solovair gibsons I've had since november have never given me blisters or any rubbing and have broken in beautifully. not only are they much higher quality leather but theyre also still made in england so the price is justifiable for the increased costs of manufacture as well as the MUCH better quality leather. >>13064782
