What is the general opinion on biker/engineer boots here? I tried a pair of brown, low-cut boots at a thrift store today. They fit me well, they felt really comfortable to wear but I wasn't digging the heel which was angled downwards, and I consider brown shoes to be reserved for a more "suitier" style. I already wear Docs, would adding a pair of black biker/engineer-style boots look out of place?

I'd love to own a pair of boots like these;
>flat sole, or atleast minimalistic in the design
>straight and flat sole, maybe with a normal tread
>no curved tips and downward angled heels
>round or a very neutral toebox, not spiky or boxed

Pic related, yay or fucking gay? They're a handmade pair (Finland) of boots. I know they're not as """"biker"""" as I've described but I'd pair them up with my moto-jacket and some black jeans.
