Mint. Mint was the one tea that I didn't feel the need to add sugar to when I started drinking it. It's not bitter at all, nor is it spicy like peppermint candy, even if it's peppermint tea. It's not sweet in the slightest; it's a very neutral and great flavor. May help wake you up in the morning.

Spice teas: Most common are Chai and Ginger. These aren't sweet at all and Chai actually is a black tea blend commonly cut with milk, though you can sub almond or soy. Almost like the hot cocoa of the tea world. Chai would be more bitter than ginger because of the tea, but ginger is a lot spicier. I'd avoid them for now, unless you're okay with adding a fair bit of sugar, which it seems you're avoiding.
Giving up dairy without a real medical reason is a sure fire way to tell you body to stop producing digestive enzymes for lactose. You'll 100% become intolerant to dairy. So, think about if you really need to eliminate whole food groups, and how in future you might wish you didn't get diarrhea from a few bites of cheese or ice cream. Hot mexican chocolate can be made into "drinking chocolate" with basic water, not necessarily with dairy.

Hot cider is delicious. Go ahead and experiment with cider from various apple varieties. Galaveau and honeycrisp are my favorites. You can add a simple teaspoon of mulling spices if you wish to simmer it awhile, or reheat an already mulled cider in the microwave. Even a couple minutes of steeping is enough to add some orange zest or cinnamon punch.
Also, you could sip blended veggie soups from a cup. The Lipton cup of soup in the "Creamy Chicken" variety is pretty yummy, even has a few croutons on top. You can certainly heat up some V8. For something economical, the big jars of Bouillon granules from Mexico come in flavors like chicken with lime, or chicken with tomato. It's got a little more punch than just salty broth. College Inn stocks have a thai stock flavor with lovely lemongrass and ginger.
