So I've been really tempted to get a pair of Vans Sk8 Hi's or Old Skools lately. However I hate the stereotypically bulky/clownish look of most skateboarding shoes - it looks that Sk8 Hi's/Old Skools don't really have that problem especially once worn out a bit and have a nice flat-ish silhouette, but just in case - how big are they irl? Isn't there a slim version or something?
