Can someone red-pill me on re-dyeing jeans? I want to re-dye two pairs of black jeans I own that are pretty much gray, I washed them way too often.

I heard Rit Dye Liquid is good, and am considering buying some but don't know how much to use and what to do after dyeing, like how to wash them, if I can wash them with other clothes or if simply wearing them could cause them to stain shoes or shirts.

I've got a bit of money on hand now and want to get some real nice black skinny/slim jeans, im willing to spend up to maybe $400 (AUD) at the absolute most and preferrably in the 200-300 range.

I have no idea what I'm doing though, my first thought was Acne or APC but I've read they're wildly overpriced for their quality and they're not much better than the Levis 511s I've got now lmao.

wut do /fa/? Jeans are the one thing I always try before I buy as well so if anyone knows good shit I can get for retail in like Melbourne or something that would be great.

Is it worth getting jeans tailored? I've pretty much never found the perfect fit and apparently you can get them tailored, though I've never considered it before. Is it worth the price? And how do I got about finding a good tailor?
