The DS30 was good enough in the first place, only Damasko do not specify what grade movement they actually put in them.I was always wondering if they would come up with a submarine bracelet. Any shots of the whole combo?

Im not a fan of the bezel type, I prefer a driver setup in the way of "how much time has ellapsed" in comparison to "how much I have left". Im also not too big on white dials. I would choose a different model, personally, but if you like the design go for it. With numbers or indices?

Have you considered any alternatives?

I think the bracelet belongs is the aero ice hardened steel(DA). It would look off paired with a submarine steel watch head (DS).

Im just straight ripping this out from another forum:

>Tegimented Sinn cases are in the ~1200 Vickers range (though I've read 1500 in some places). That puts it in the ~72 HRC range. As mentioned, that's a surface layer, on the order of 20-30 microns thick; underneath it'll be softer.
>Ice-hardened Damasko cases are in the ~800 Vickers range (~64 HRC). Hardened completely through, not a surface layer.
>Both companies use a PVD coating in the 2000+ Vickers range for their black cases.

Damasko might...scratch...more easily than Sinn, but a heavy blow will...dent...the Sinn more easily, if that makes sense.
Beware that no matter how scratchproof, there WILL be some things/material in life that you may encountar that will be harder. Somebody scratched theirs on some ultrahardened tabletop.

What is the most scratch-resistant case material?
Damasko with their ice hardened meme? Some coatings? Ive seen ceramic chip off of some Omega or whatwasit.
And why are Sinn such fags, that they put some of their meme tech in one watch, but some other meme tech in the other. Why not have the option of a full-blown movement with all the gizmos?

Small diameter watches really dont do well with thiccness. The proportions are shit.

Fags getting rings from Tungsten Carbide, because muh unscratchable, undestructable ultrahard.
Why arent watch cases by some meme company like Sinn or Damasko made from Tungsten Carbide, then? Is it brittle? Seems to be machine-able enough for rings, why not cases?

SOME people might not give two shit about MADE IN GERMANY and the memes it brings which are in actuality of even lesser a value than SWISS MADE.
Sinn and Damasko both need to chill and ease up their prices. You hardened your cases, we get it, but you still stuck an ETA movement in it, and PLEASE DONT LET ME START ON YOUR 600 YURO BRACELETS.

What made you decide on a DA37 instead of a DS30 for example? The size, steel or dial?

Bot have supposedly terrible customer service and will never own up to creating a faulty product, it is always the customers fault and half the time they dont even fix the issue.
...supposedly.

>Sinn and Damasko

I wanna know about this, homie. I know Sinn keep their best memetech for their higher priced pieces, but still ask great amounts for basic bitch watches. I thought Damasko was cool? Except some customers reporting shady practices when it comes to customer service. I thought long and hard about their AIRPLANE and SUBMARINE steel memes, but decided to say fuck it and went the casual quartz route instead.

Just as an example, the DS30 doesnt need an extra layer to be antimagnetic so is thinner, the DA36 looks a bit nicer, but is larger and taller, and heavier of course. All in all, their designs are sharp, crisp and clean, but ultimately german and boring.

And lets not forget the €600 bracelets (D) and €500 (S) sapphire crystals.

Speaking of Damasko. Submarine or aero steel? I like how the DS30 is thinner and lighter than the DA36.

For your consideration. The submarine steel is darker, and allows the watch to be thinner, but I heard it scratches more easily. I personally dont even get scratches on SS watches, but if thats your thing, hey. The aero steel watch is also heavier, dont know if you like "wrist presence" or lightness in a watch. I wouldnt bother with the meme bracelet. The DS30 is on backorder, the DA36 is available right now.
