Anyways, trying to turn this into an arguement of plebs vs whatever is pointless. The weather here is mild. If you're going out in nearly sheer black tights that have 0 insulation properties, it's clear you don't need a green parka but they buy them anyways. Similarly, they don't need riding boots since they sure as shit aren't riding horses. It's all because these items have trend status and these people follow group mentality.

These things go on sale to begin with because they are trends. That's why they get it.

"the trend for actual fashionable people" is a paradoxical statement. You're trying to argue that fashionable people avoid trends, but that doing so is a trend in and of itself? You are getting mixed up now.

I'm not arguing in favor of any fast fashion group, but if you have any understanding of business or economics you would understand that groups like zara have huge teams dedicated to researching the most bleeding edge styles so that they can market them to trend status with the general public.

Trends have been around since human culture was born because it is the best way to cultivate business and sell in large quantities.
