Pragmatism is key. A stint at a good firm will hopefully allow me to move to something better quicker. Or if I ever decide on a different lifestyle, it gives something decent to fall on.

I'd love to be able to do that. I make music and write stuff. I'm simply aware that I'm not good enough to really make a living out of it.
My hope for the near future is getting a PhD and lecturing and researching in my hometown, near the beach.
The hours are good and the pay good enough that I have time for music. Hopefully by then I'm not too burnt out to enjoy it.
