Baxter is good, got a pair in Vintage Sole (there's a couple of stores in Melbourne) that were very worn but I had them re-soled at a cobbler and they cleaned up nicely

Blundstone is another good budget alternative to RMs. The 663 Dress Boot has been my daily boot for ~4 years, still going strong. Aussie Disposals have them. They run large so get one size down.
