Where can I find old ass art deco styling that is extremely similar to pic related but on a new watch? If I'm better off buying vintage how should I go about it? I wouldn't know what is acceptable for an old one of these to run at, everyone lists "recently serviced" but I've been burned by that (on extremely cheap shit but still)

I know about the joseph bulova collection shown at baselword but imo it's a missed opportunity, the cases are horrid and I have no clue what the sizes are but probably oversized just looking at them. Hamilton makes some nice shit that is true to their roots but it's all past the era of this and more into the incredibles/mad men looking shit and not tomy gun/overcoat.

It's kind of insane no one is nailing these old aesthetics for new watches, it was a common look and it's distinct. Maybe a microbrand will eventually ape old shit like this, I've seen a few that do it for british shit of the same era.
