here goes nothing: imho techwear is definitely aesthetic>function. when you've got people out there in the world who swim naked in subzero temperatures for recreation, you realize that functional clothing is basically a luxury in dealing with the elements. i see techwear in a much broader scope than some anons are comfortable with accepting. i would even go as far to say that certain workwear has a tech appeal to it. i would like to think of techwear as adapting to your environment via garments, luggage and human-powered transport. there many different environments and situations that demand variation in approach. basically, not ALL clothing is going to work best ALL the time.
