It's easy, and even if you scratch the underside of the lug no one will see it except watchmakers. Furthermore, if you service the watch you can get the scratches polished out (unless it's a deep one). I do it all the time. Do it in a well lit place though the first time so that if the springbar boings out unexpectedly you can find it on the carpet or floor. Which Omega? Also I don't have a tool either; I use the mini-screwdriver from my Victorinox.
