Speaking of waxed canvas, I'm tempted by these. I like that the leather is brown instead of black since I could just buy jungle boots if I wanted that.
But they are cheaper boots.

Do you know anyone who makes a better quality boot with the waxed cotton / nylon patch on the shaft?
