Milisurp gats don't have the suede around the laces like the ones in the store. What else is different about these? I heard the insoles of milisurp gats are bad, are these better?

What's the consensus on German military surplus gats? I need a nice pair of white sneakers but cant afford mm gats. Should I should get these or just go for something completely different?
