Prolly getting another cut on the sides again soon, going for pic related.

I usually do a twist out up top but does anyone know what this dude does that that smooth texture?

Going to get my hair cut tomorrow after work, going for something like this.
Not sure what exactly to tell the barber other than lower the sides a lot and take a little of the top. Any tips?
