I've been looking into buying my first pair of Doc Martens. Planning on the 1460 mono, are the quality equivalent to the other 1460 models?

Please god help. I just want a plain, basic black boot, like the Doctor Martinez 1460 monochrome. No excessive branding, no stupid bullshit on the sides like zippers. What's an alternative that doesn't have the associated stigma of Doc Martins? Preferably as cheap ( remember there's some brand that is essentially a 1460 with a blue logo thing but I didn't really like it and it was more expensive if I remember correctly). Cheers fah.
