I use the bose headphones sitting at the computer or doing studying. Despite being overpriced they are the comfiest headphones that I found which are also noise cancelling.

Exactly what I need for listening to music for many hours each day. the ATH-M50 gave me some serious headaches even after stretching them.

If I am just walking around, I go for earbuds because of they are easy. They must be the noise cancelling ones that use rubber to create a barrier to the ear canal. Otherwise you are destroying your hearing and you hear to much background noise.
