This is a really interesting question.
For me, clothing is about further extending a world I'm comfortable in. I mentioned the tactile experience of comfort, and that means a lot to me, but also never feel like I've established some sort of facade with my clothing - I want my clothing to express myself honestly to people, rather than simply wearing something because it is cool, or for whatever other reason. For me, clothing is about paving my own way and creating something I feel comfortable: perhaps that's why Yohji's work and his concepts resonate so heavily with me.
