I'm looking for a pair of classically-styled, durable boots for casual/outdoors wear. They need a sole that can stand up to lots of snow and other shitty weather. Budget is $500. So far I've narrowed my choices down to:
>Alden Indy (pictured)
>Nick's custom work boot
>something from Allen Edmonds maybe
>Russel Moccasin hiker
>Rancourt blake boots
I would just go with a pair of Red Wings, but I have a 7/7.5E foot and none of their lasts seem to fit me.
What do you guys think?
