Someone wants to buy a coat I'm selling on Grailed and I'm 99% sure it's a scammer (PayPal account not verified, address not verified on PP, supposed address in the middle of Manhattan, searching the PP email address finds some shit that looks like auto-generated ads in broken English).

The money he send hasn't been accepted by me yet and I could still deny it, PayPal even shows a warning message to not send anything out yet since the address is unverified.

I contacted Grailed and they just send some stupid copypasta about contacting PayPal if anything were to happen.

Should I deny the transaction and write him that I don't trust accepting money from an unverified account?

Not every piece gets on sale. Even after it goes then they are still expensive like Saint Laurent leather jackets. Of course if you want to buy them new. Used clothing is a different story.

I just don't see the reason for buying a designer 50$+ basic tee. More complicated and unique goods are fine. Things like parkas, jackets, coats, shoes and sometimes jeans when they are clearly different and unique.
