Don't get me wrong, I appreciate a lot of 50s and early 60s fashion. But harping on it is like when boomer cuckservatives unironically bring up Ronald Reagan, missing why Reagan was a big deal in the 70s-80s in ways he would be irrelevant today.

Effete urban faggots glorifying what they perceive as the authentic masculine culture of yesteryear, inspired mainly by movies, tv shows and novelty bands that became popular, and cosplaying as the turn-of-the-century working class. Nothing wrong with playing dress-ups, except when they start to believe their own bullshit and make Facebook posts about beards being inherently masculine and making them more authentic men by extension. And you just know there are those men out there who always had beards before this trend blew up, and are now being lectured by these hipsters for not grooming it "properly" and using the right amount of Scoop Deluxe. It STARTED coming into fashion with urban hipsters, and that's still the main demographic sporting this look. Every time I see a bearded twentysomething male in a flanno with tattoos, I know I'm looking at another soft-skinned poofter who's never had to do a hard day's work in his life.
