I've had people tell me I don't wear enough gear, but even the 'veteran bikers' are a bunch of pussies; they ride once in awhile, they spend 10 minutes strapping on protective gear. I ride literally every single day, rain, shine, snow. The people wearing sandals riding in india? Easy to laugh at them but they ride hours every day, have to walk around town, stand at work all day, every single day of their lives. Imagine strapping on your leathers and back plate to drive your car to work or take the bus. It's the only way they get around, at some point you have to weigh your convenience and comfort vs the risk, and for most of us, the risk isn't that big of a deal.
