Grocery store bagger. About to get an A.S. in IT. I was supposed to be getting one in Computer Science, but my school isn't that great, and just recently started offering the degree, the final courses I need to take to get it aren't even developed yet.

I just hope I can find somewhere technology-oriented to work that isn't minimum wage before I transfer to another school for a B.S. I don't even need to be making a ton at the end of all this, I just want to be able to live. This week's been pretty shitty and I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time trying to buy nicer clothes, like I'm tricking myself into thinking that I'll have higher self esteem and security when I'm covered in Veilance and Nonnative and Acronym, etc...

Blogging aside anyone here work in software development or network administration or a related field? If so, what's it like?
