Fine thanks, though busy as shit; trying to stay ahead of the curve and not fall out of orbit. I've thought the same thing about the Alaska actually; I still remember when it was released, and no one wanted it due to the red donut. Funny how things turn around. Stay warm, LawyerAnon, and remember that unless your leather jacket is lined, it will bleed heat.

Grail as usual, though I've been wearing the Citizen a lot more recently when possible. Are you keeping well?

I haven't been in Europe for a long time Anon...long enough to remember what the golden age was like. I'm not planning on returning, but that's not to say it wouldn't be fun to have a night out with y'all. Times have changed, and people have changed, and nothing can bring that society back. That being said, if we found a quiet jazz club that was well stocked with comfy chairs, I'd be in.

You're kind Anon. What are you wearing today, Fren?

>>17904253
Nah; I think it hit the target perfectly. No one claims the movement is amazing, or the design 'original', or things like that. It's simply a great reproduction at an affordable price in enough variety to capture an audience. Like the MoonSwatch, for example.

Looks nice Anon; I really like the 'bubble-bezel' look.

No, not autistic. I actually think your choices are great for the first 6-watch collection. Just be aware that you may still hear the siren song of watches and want to create a new collection, maybe higher in price (except for the beater, of course). So I'd say decide on each to the model#, try as many on as you can before purchase, and wait a year or two for the choices to ferment. After a year you'll know what you really want and what you don't, and then you won't waste money on watches that you'll grow tired of. Finally, they're mostly mechanical, you'll have to service them too over time, so take that into account as the 'price of entry'.
