Just picked up Amouage Interlude... Anyone else finds the smell very weird? Thoughts on it?

Explain to me how come the only good fragrances from Amouage, an Omanian brand that aspires to revive and celebrate 3000 years of local perfumery, are some heavy resiny-incensy things that are absolutely not wearable and cloying in summer? Do middle-easterners have different concepts of what is appropriate for hot weather or what? It's really beyond me to understand it. They have like 40 celsius fucking degrees there for 365 days a year and I'd probably faint if I wore any of Epic/Jubilation/Interlude in a mild European summer.

Hoping /frag/ can help me find this Amouge fragrance. Can't remember the bottle or name but holy shit do I remember the smell.

I smelt it in London Selfridges while I was looking for pic related. It was on the far right of the kiosk for Amouge if anons are familiar with the place.
