i can see that

i think that can be achieved by exaggerating just outerwear though

like everything the girl in the pic is wearing underneath could be with a slim silhouette, yet she's protected by this large enveloping piece

like you say, size can be threatening and show dominance, but i really feel happy when it looks like it gives comfort and shelter
