No. This is wrong on pretty much every level. "Polyester" is a category of many different chemicals, some of which can be made into fibers, that can then be assembled into fabric in many different ways. The exact fabric's properties are going to vary depending on the particular polyester used and the structure of the fabric.

Spandex is extremely useful and a little bit of it is usually only a good thing to blend in to a fabric.

The cheapest material on the planet is bottom basement rayon.

Also, like, FFS, she's a woman running. I don't know how you think you can tell the composition of her thighs from that picture, but whatever, FOH with the body snarking.

The ACG bomber:

- has a Gore Windstopper layer, which is not cheap in terms of materials, and the license to use it mandates collaborating with Gore Associates on the design, so more $$$
- uses Primaloft Gold, the best warmth/weight synthetic insulation around
- is exquisitely patterned and well featured
- is part of the rebirth of Nike ACG
- and is one of the cheaper ways, maybe the cheapest, to get a jacket definitively* designed by Errolson Hugh

All that is worth and costs money. Compare it to the Arc'Teryx Kappa, which is functionally similar - Windstopper, very good synthetic insulation, good patterning and features. It's $350.

And yeah, FOH with the antisemitism, too.

* Errolson consults and designs for other companies less publicly. He does a lot with Tilak, who does a lot of the production for Acronym, but AFAIK there's just one hardshell he confirmed on Twitter designing when someone noticed his touch in the design.
