What level of body hair is effay? How to maintain body hair? It seems like both too much, and not enough hair is not effay. So what are your opinions? Shave, trim, what?

I have very thick coarse leg hair, so I trim that with normal hair clippers and use some cheap beard oil, it looks fairly good at this point, arms are fine, but chest is weird and patchy and I can't think of any way to make it acceptable.

Reminder that tricky ricky was right and you will never look good clothed if you don't look good naked.
