Something possibly overlooked:

What are the limits on the ability of tailors? Like, I how much can they do beyond hemming pants and the sort?

For example, I have a jacket that's like a half size larger than I'd like it to be; would a tailor be able to change all the dimensions to make it fit me, especially the underarm area?
