So I might dye my hair black in the coming weeks. Need some tips from people who've dyed their hair before.

Alright, I'm trying to give my hair more volume, so I need advice. The main suggestion I've gotten is undercut it, which I don't have a problem with. Pic related, it's basically my hair currently, but mine's flatter and a brown-blond color.

Mmkay /fa/ I'm looking for ways to give my hair a bit more volume. Right now it's like the pic, but really flat right now. I'm open to any suggestions. I've heard that undercutting helps, should I do that?
