Fair enough, as at least the Seiko has its own heritage and uniqueness.

I will disagree with you about the 'lacking personality' of the 2254.50. It has lots of personality:
1) it's the only milspec diver that has lyre lugs and a wavy dial.
2) the lume is far better than any other competitor.
3) the movement is proven (ETA 2892-A)
4) thinnest of all.

I still don't understand why more people don't own them...they're not that expensive compared with the normal diver options...
