I never understood the reference number autism, is there any difference?, a watch is a watch.Are the watches so changed to the point is necessary naming them by reference numbers or is just some form of compulsive disorder having to name every single model even if they are pretty much similar?.

Next year I will have a budged of 3k eur and I'm think of blowing it on 500-800 shitters and start a smol collection unless I find a 3k watch I really like. Looks like a terrible decission but for some reason it sounds more appealing to me, I don't want to impress anyone, there is no next generation, I really like watches so even shitters are valuable for me, I'm a humble and frugal guy and wearing an expensive watch looks somewhat wrong, if I buy an expensive one it will be something discrete or toolish enough that does not reveal any luxury.
